Fundraising Event Support Volunteer (Great North Run 2026)

The AJ Bell Great North Run is the world’s biggest and best half marathon, with 60,000 runners taking on the 13.1-mile route from Newcastle to South Shields.

It’s famous for its inclusive atmosphere, unbeatable on-route entertainment, and warm Geordie welcome, not to mention the millions raised each year for worthy causes.

We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to come along on the day and support our amazing team of runners.

With your generous support we will be cheering on a team of over 110 runners taking on the challenge and raising vital funds to support people living with epilepsy. Some will be trying to beat their personal best times, for others it may be their first attempt at a long distance running. Your support on the day will help give them that extra spring in their step to achieve their goal.
