Do you want to support our fantastic Facebook Challenges? We are expecting lots of supporters to take on the challenges throughout the year and join our Facebook Challenge groups. They'll be sharing their experiences and progress towards their goal as well as sharing their epilepsy journey.

That's where we need you!

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help moderate our Facebook challenges, cheering on fundraisers and signposting them to other support. You'll be helping to create an inspiring and positive environment that our fundraisers won't forget.

You don't need to have taken part in a challenge before, but it would be great if you have experience of fundraising and know what a difference encouragement and support from the team can make. You'll also be signposting people to our other services and answering frequently asked questions. Our team will be on hand to help with any unusual or more specific questions or requests.

It's a really flexible role in that you can choose when to volunteer (morning, afternoon or evening). We'll be holding challenges throughout the year so you will be able to pick and choose which challenges you support based on you availability. The challenges themselves cover a short period of time, we are looking for your help in the two weeks in the run up to the challenge and during the two-week challenge itself. Ideally we would like volunteers who are able to do two or more one hour sessions per week in the run up to and during the challenge.

We'll provide all the training and support you need to help you in your role and we'll have regular volunteer meet-ups during the challenge so that you can share your experiences with other volunteers and pick up tips from each other.

You'll find it really inspiring as people share their stories and the challenges they have overcome to take part and reach their goals. You'll also be learning how to be a social media moderator. Why not join us and help raise awareness, funds and lift spirits to support more people to live better with epilepsy!
